Q: The border looks very wide. Does this affect how the skirt falls? A: Yes, in a good way! The wide "woven and embroidered" border acts as a weight at the hem. This prevents the Matka silk (which can sometimes be stiff) from ballooning out too much. It ensures the lehenga stays circular and settled when you walk, giving you that perfect "gliding" look.
Q: Is Matka Silk shiny like Satin? I prefer a matte look. A: You will love this. Matka Silk is known for its rich, textured matte finish rather than a high-gloss shine. It looks very vintage and royal. The "shine" in this outfit comes purely from the sequin buttas and embroidery, creating a sophisticated balance between matte fabric and sparkling work.
Q: The dupatta is Organza. Is it slippery to manage? A: Organza is structured, not slippery (like satin or chiffon). It holds its shape beautifully. However, because it has some volume, we recommend pinning it securely at the shoulder and waist. It is the best fabric for creating a "framed" look around your face in photos.
